My first job I worked at a custard place in 2007. Each day we had different rotating flavors. In the time being there, I learned that custard and ice cream are different. I also learned that scooping custard is very satisfying to me. Something about the rich, smooth consistency that is visually appealing. I've found inspiration from custard and ice cream over the years for my art. Being in the midwest all my life, it's hard to find someone who doesn't love ice cream.
